Epoch 7 is officially upon us. This epoch will have a slightly different structure to bring more light to governance while also helping bring forth the most qualified candidates from the community. We will continue as the white paper states with a 72-hour voting window. After nominations, we will have a campaigning period which is explained below. Nomination Period: • 7 Days starts on <t:1667883600:F> and ends on <t:1668488400:f> • All $ILV holders have the power to nominate candidates and vote in the election to choose the next five Council members of the new epoch • How to Nominate: Submit your nomination on the website via Community → Governance → Nominations or this link •Fill out the form by providing a brief bio explaining what qualities the candidate will bring to ILV governance, why we should vote for your candidate, a brief background on who they are, and what relevant professional crypto/DeFi/gaming experience they may have. (Bio limited to 300 words) •You can nominate yourself or a fellow community member. When nominating another member, please have a conversation with them first •One nomination per member allowed Campaigning Period: • 7 days starts on <t:1668488400:f> and ends on <t:1669093200:F> • Campaigning will be used as a platform for nominees to introduce themselves to the larger community • Participate in AMAs, Townhalls, Interviews, and Debates. This is not mandatory for candidates but is great for the community to learn about you the nominees • Gives time to field community comments and concerns as well as voice your qualifications • Use the <#950693680925261844> for any discourse around the candidates or nomination process • View Nominees and Bios : Voting Period: • 3 days starts on <t:1669179600:F> ends on <t:1669438800:F> • Voting Snapshot link: • Qualifying nominees will be added to Snapshot for voting • Voting will be a blind snapshot vote (If IIP-25 Passes) • After voting has ended, the new Council will be issued council NFTs and start their term on December 1, 2022. Remember—an Illuvinati Council member always maintains integrity, offers transparency on their opinions, and acts in the best interests of the DAO. They are responsible for voting on any proposals to the Illuvium DAO during the given epoch. ATTENTION! We are updating Illuvium: Arena at approximately <t:1667892600:f>. It will likely take about an hour to deploy. Patch 0.2.2 includes many performance improvements and bug fixes. Once complete, you need to delete your old version of Illuvium: Arena, then head to and download the new version. (We are currently working on a patcher system that will greatly reduce the file size, but it won't be available for a few more patches) If the update takes longer than an hour we will inform everyone of when the download will be available.
